This was suggested by H. I normally make murungal elai thoran by just adding little coconut and chillies. This time tried it by adding egg and it was delicious. I loved it.
Ingredients:
Murungai elai - 150 grams
Egg - 1
Coconut (grated) - 30 grams
Onions - 50 grams
Green chillies - 10 grams
Salt and turmeric powder - to taste
To temper:
Oil - 10 grams
mustard - 5 grams
Urad dal - 3 grams
Method:
Murungai ela mutta thoran is ready. Serve with any rice.

Method:
- Wash and clean the drumstick leaves.
- Finely chop the onions and green chillies.
- Beat the egg with a pinch of salt and keep it aside.
- In a kadai, pour oil and add the mustard seeds. Once mustard splutters add urad dal and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped onions and green chillies. Saute until onions turn translucent.
- Add the murungai ela and the grated coconut. Add salt and turmeric powder.
- Mix well. Cover and cook until the murungai ela is cooked.
- Now add the beaten egg and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Murungai ela mutta thoran is ready. Serve with any rice.
